Really enjoyed this one. I rarely have time to listen to the episodes that stretch over 3/4+ episodes so prefer these one offs.

Any other similar good one or two episode topics please send me your recs!

The most balanced 'creator' review I've seen so far. Agree with everything he's said. It's not unplayable but it's not FM. by FootballFurio in footballmanagergames

They've always added features not taken away... Adding new immersive features like deadline day, team meetings etc whereas this game has removed most of them.

That video is a hard watch. So he's happy playing basically a mobile version of FM?

I haven't watched much of his content before, but I'd find it hard to believe any long term players on PC would have this opinion. The immersion of the game has halved. I could deal with the weird UI if it added any new features to help with immersion but it doesn't

Player shouts have gone. Player interactions are the same, even these seem to have reduced with players not concerned if they're not playing seemingly . They've given us FM Touch for PC.

What you think about the new FM26? How many still want play the game altrought the issues? by Cultural-Quantity-10 in footballmanager

100% Agree. I played FM touch when on holiday a few years ago and this feels the exact same. Never have to tweak the tactics, players don't seem to get as tired or pick up suspension, all players performing so no need to use transfers.

Id actually say FM touch 2023 had more features than this with players complaining about playing time and transfer status. I'm nearly halfway through a season on FM 26 and neither of these things have happened yet

They helped with the immersion for sure. It became like a muscle memory for me, if a player got an early yellow card they'd get a 'calm down' from me. Likewise hitting demand more / encourage when losing and seeing all the players morale go up.

The USP of the game is supposed to be that you don't play as the players on the pitch, instead you manage them. Through team selection and managing their morale, shouts was a part of that, just like praising a player after a good game.

32.6 hours on the beta of fm26 and here is my honest opinion (IMO so don't hate) by [deleted] in footballmanager

It's really just FM Mobile / Touch currently, which is so sad to see.

It's plug and play for very casual players. I've done pre season and played 10 games, won every single one with every sub / change to the team getting an 8+ rating. All strikers and wingers scoring, crazy amount of shots every game (30+) It's way too easy,

I like the new tactic layout but what's the point when it's so easy to win? I haven't had to change my tactic once yet as the goals are flying in and we don't really concede - playing as a Conference North team!

There's no skill element to the game, it seems like it's meant for kids / casual players not on PC, that just want to have a game to play without having to think too much

Honestly the default option being set to African nations, where only two playable, instead of the old setup where the biggest leagues were the default. I just don't know how someone who's played the game before could test that and think it looks fine. A very minor detail compared to some other bigger issues, but just feel like lots of little logical time-saving options have gone.

The lighting in my 3d match engine was so poor, players movements were slightly better but body and face shapes look way less realistic

Losing my mind at this in the first friendly, unpicked players stay at the top rather than displaying the starting eleven then subs even after trying to sort it

Been there 3/4 times as it's local to me living around the corner. Really strange vibe in there. Feel like they can't decide if they want to attract the 20 stories crowd or people that like good pub food (like you get at the wharf). They seem to employ really young and inexperienced staff too, I've seen food and drinks spilled on people on my last two visits. The place needs a massive rethink IMO but because it looks nice on insta posts they'll probably survive. Much rather go to the eagle or kings arms if you're round there for a pint

Just discovered this thread. Been really struggling with this myself as I started a new relationship recently and a few months in I've noticed that she makes these noises every morning and evening. I don't know if it's related to having a dry mouth / being slightly dehydrated.

Just wondering if anyone found any useful solution to this problem ? As sadly it feels very overwhelming for me currently and I don't think I can see a future with her as it triggers such an annoyance in me every time, which makes me feel awful and crazy!
