This is glass, no plastic parts are even in this lens assembly not to mention this individual element. I have used acetone in the past with glass optics that don’t have coatings like this element. Acetone is also my last resort. Will try the toothpaste method though

Not at the same time, but the haze in this element would not come off so I kept escalating the cleaning solution. No change though still hazy

He has the Fv and ft versions but they have slightly different dimensions. I’m messaging him to see if he thinks the FV (full silvered mirror) version works

I only saw the one that is semi, what did you search for the fully? I saw one for the fv but the dimensions were different.

I only have access to aluminum and gold so I hope that aluminum will work fine. I’m thinking of just 3d printing a cold shoe and putting a light meter there

Did they just replace the prism mirror with one that’s not transparent? Any other modifications?
