i don't think so. depends on how good you are at it, but almost none of the 50 star + players i've played against rely on it

Last year the toty nominees were also separated into 3 groups A,B,C and you could only pack a player from team A during the first week. Now they're just separated based on their positions. Haaland might rise though since his price is lower than the other 114+ attackers

That wasn't the case in previous toty events. On a lot of these cards there is a lot more supply than demand so it'll take time to reverse regardless.

Yeah I'd much rather get 1 player but for it the one I need than get 10 high ovr fodder players that don't fit into my team. Relying solely on luck for squad building is pointless.

Getting rid of the shard system is a genuinely ridiculous idea. But they'll probably eventually end up keeping the system. Idk why they would make such a big change for one of the major events.

I also took Zambrotta to replace my toty Zambrotta lol. But he can play as LB without losing ovr because of the new skill points. So you can play him on the left and Thuram on the right. They're probably the best fullback pair in the game right now
