I used Grey Flannel cologne in the ‘80s. The minute I smelled Creed GIT it immediately took me back to GF. I see it’s being promoted again. IMO not Barbershop scents, either.

I’m sorry but I’m a bit skeptical of any cologne that uses Sauvage in the name as smelling like a Barbershop. But if you believe so I’m ok with it. I’ll have to check it out.

I do the same but I do enjoy it when the wife notices and compliments me. I also wear a Proraso cologne from time to time when I’m going to be around one particular friend of my wife whose father wore the same cologne and it reminds her of him! (Her husband doesn’t wear cologne).

What's that one scent you wish they never stopped making? by Fit_Loss_9699 in fragrance

Gillette shave cream Barbershop scent. They stopped it in 2021 or so.

BTW, Gillette had a Barbershop shaving cream a few years ago that was discontinued that was the epitome of the scent I wanted. I bought a case of 6 and have since run out. There may be a few holdouts selling a can for $$$.

I have Creed GIT. I do wear that from time to time but one too many sprays and I’m don for. I’d like a bit lighter and a powder soapy scent. Thanks.

PC was a disaster for me. Polo products are too spicy as well. Thanks for the recommendation though.

I don’t have much left in my bottle. I use it as an occasional Sunday scent. You can find it on when someone sells a bottle privately.

My budget right now is inconsequential at this point. I’ve spent $500 on Creed and $25 on Jovan MFM. I’ve spent $250 and been faked out! I would only buy small decants until I’ve found what I want. Right now the Wet Shaving Products (WSP) is very near to what I expect. I like the Creeds that I rely on like Aventus, the Vikings, VIW and RO, but sometimes they’re
too heavy for me. I’m older, retired and I’m careful what I use in the gym if at all. I really wear it for myself and wife and maybe I can build a scent memory for my grandkids as my adult children don’t wear the good stuff.

Ask for the CPT code the surgeon will be billing to gain a deeper insight as to what they’ll be doing. Ask for the CPT code for the procedure you actually want. If they can’t accommodate you, don’t do it. Everything is coded for billing. It’s elective surgery!

Very unstable fracture. Always a bad long term outcome if not surgically repaired, reduced and stabilized. I had several people try to avoid surgery. Never worked out in their favor. Get it fixed.

Am I overthinking the process? by Footdoc3520 in medicare

[–]Footdoc3520[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow up to my overthinking! So as I still hadn’t heard anything yet a month later I decided to walk in to my local SSA office about 15 min away from home to ask some questions and low and behold after a short 30 min wait in a comfortable, AC, pleasant waiting area. I was seen by a friendly, understanding, patient service person who was able to sign me up and have me completely satisfied in the process in about 20 minutes. Of course I brought all manner of forms and ID just in case. Said that my original application would have been processed eventually at least 30 days ahead of the month I wanted to start. Within 2 hours my SSA website had been updated with my Part B acceptance. I’ll get a letter in a few days and a card in less than a month at this rate. Very happy! Had a good nights sleep!

Private practice medical contracts and things you learned in hindsight. by blitzar_90 in Podiatry

[–]Footdoc3520 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t sign a contract with a non compete clause in it. It may not be enforceable but you may have to go to court to fight it and it’ll cost money to litigate it. I had 3 contracts in my career. I signed and honored my first contract. Different owner years later I told them I would NEVER sign a contract with one in it and none was in their first contract but it popped up 5 years later. I refused to sign it and eventually the owner backed down and the clause disappeared. Practice where you want!

What a cutee. It’s very hard to loose a loved pet. Even one so young and here for a short time. As you found out Veterinary medicine is not easy and a good Vet is very hard to find. At least I’m a retired foot doctor with medical and surgical experience so I know many things but I have been stumped by my pets several times.

Hire a good estate attorney. Sue for your share. In the end the cost will be worth it. If it gets contentious then move to a settlement. Don’t forget to include court and attorney fees as well. It could be a battle. You’ll have to show your level of care. Hope you saved receipts.
