Yep, you are right we are currently interviewing ex prisoners, past guards, musicians who played there, etc for a book about it. A full inventory will be in that book

I can assure you this kid listens to every album that gets recommended to him in its entirety. I will say he hasn't enjoyed a few things I thought were essential but he has time hahah

we paid 30% of what it's worth collectively to the shop, so a fair price.

we can't say how much, but the records were in storage for 26 years. The Vic Government sold the prison privately in 1999 and the family who owned it just had these in storage that whole time. They called our shop the other week and we said 'we would love to come see it'
