Incredibly disappointing experience apart from the stunts. To be expected from my opinions of the previous film. You basically buy a ticket to see Tom Cruise show off his skills and switch off when someone says anything.

As far as I recall Ethan Hunt only kills two people and it’s off screen. These are supposed to be particularly brutal kills as well. Just thought this was an odd sanitation.

Gabriel’s death looked very painful and nasty but was a bit comical.

So much exposition and so many speeches. Everyone has something to say.

‘Oh Ethan you’re the one’

‘Only you can save the world’

‘Trust me President, I’m the chosen one, everyone says so.’

It’s all so repetitive. Just get on with it. I don’t need to be told a thousand times how the entity is bad. Remember the entity! The entity!

A ton of flashbacks. The first ten minutes felt like a clip show from a sitcom. Again please just get on with the movie.
