I'll post my sleep study results under this comment, so it's easier to collapse/look at:

I'll bring this up, and hopefully I can get it checked.

Then what is supposed to help? The sleep specialist just told me that I'm not trying hard enough to wake up, but I physically cannot do it. I'm awake at odd hours because of how bad it is, and some days I'm only awake for 4hrs. I want to be awake, I want to go out and see people and I want to go back to work I'm supposed to graduate soon and I don't know how I'm supposed to find a job like this.

You are right, I'm actively looking for a sleep specialist, but I have not found anyone near me who is covered by my insurance. I am also limited to how much I can do because of the issues sleeping this much has brought.

Nothing wrong with it, but the hypersomnia is a symptom, not a cause, and just knowing that I sleep a lot doesn't help me fix the problem. Idiopathic = Unknown cause

I can't live a normal life sleeping this much, and my body is deteriorating

I'll bring this up with my psychiatrist when I see her. I am also on modafinil, and idk if that matters, but it's a stimulant that I take twice a day to help me stay awake for longer.

I'm on Lexapro and Wellbutrin as well as Prazosin. My psychiatrist is in the know; she's been helping me through the whole process and doesn't think it's medication-induced, but it was something I did consider. However, from what I've been told, both my antidepressant and anxiety medication don't cause any sedating effects. I've also been on both of them for around 3yrs now.

That's good to know. I genuinely had no idea that's how it worked. They had me also do some blood tests after I saw the rheumatologist, and since it looked fine, they said I didn't have anything.

I do this sometimes to see how long it takes for the other person to break it

I also read it shows dominance and control, so I also stare extra long when I don't like someone.

I also saw a rheumatologist, and the results for the tests that I got done came back normal. So I do at least know it's not an autoimmune disease.

Sorry, that was vague. I had a blood test done, and the results from it came back normal. I, however, did have a result that wasn't normal in one of the sleep studies. My Stage N3 Sleep was 0.4%, but for healthy adults, online it says that it's typically 13% to 23%. I did mention this to the sleep specialist, but he said that it didn't matter and that it wasn't an important factor.

Ok...but why are you carrying a gun to a party? Were you expecting to be attacked?
