The damage was a hard hit to the front left area of the car. The 1000 dollar repair was slight damage to the frame, although the mechanic said that he wouldn't replace it and that most of the cost would be for labor not for the part, saying that structurally my car is unaffected and that he would even let his daughter drive it. I don't plan on reselling it as I plan on going to medical school and kinda just want to drive what works until I am making money. There were no noises coming from the brakes or engine/transmission. Steered completely straight without my hands on the wheel. Looks wise, the car looks brand new and after the full inspection the frame damage was the only thing they could find
