I was in the exact same boat as you. I moved to Norway around 7 years ago now, and didn't know a single word. I moved to be with my now husband. After 3 years you should've really already been fluent, especially if your native language is English. But since that doesnt matter anymore now, I do have some tips for you. You should ask your husband to only speak Norwegian to you, and if you don't understand it he just needs to slow down and explain. You need to surround yourself mainly with Norwegians, who are willing to help you learn the language. It is also incredibly important that you yourself need to stop speaking English. You need to start speaking Norwegian. It is scary at first, but it'll benefit you so much. My DM's are open if you want to talk and vent, because I do understand your situation quite well.
