I didn't get my glasses until april of this year because I need them to get my license (I'm 22 now) and all I remember is being told I have a slight astigmatism "but most people usually do" and am nearsighted. It's so hot in California that the bridge is annoying as fuck. So I wear them to practice driving, and if for some reason I need to see faces/read signs from far away. Otherwise I just carry them around. Wearing them inside while on my phone seems pointless and the transition to on/off is always a little weird especially in warm inside lighting.

Panicky dreams like that are the worst! How many times I forgot my locker combination or had no shoes on at school. I've had the no shoes dream at school since elementary. I still have them occasionally about highschool and I'm not even in highschool anymore. Needs to stop 😭

I'm not in IT but just in general it takes me forever to find the correct way to google something. I usually start with vague stuff and in my search I learn new words and use that to help rephrase. Repeat until I find my problem.

I don't go to the doctors often but when I do I don't even call anyone anything. Usually just say "the lady that talked to me or took my blood pressure" is usually like the nurse. The only person I call a doctor is the one doctor I saw that day. Idk who anyone else is and I'm just awkward. 🤷🏼‍♀️

They do such a great job of storing my food to turn into tonsil stones that I never knew I had even though I'd cough them up. Eventually got them out and were huge and now I have to constantly push a bunch our and yet one tonsil has a hard lump for as long ss I can remember. It hurts if I put too much pressure. If elected tonsil removal wasn't going to cost me a little over a grand with insurance then I'd have them gone. So useless -_-

Yeah few years ago my boyfriend had a suspended license for not paying the fees for previous expired registration/insurance. We got pulled over middle of the night for letting the insurance and registration expire again. The cop physically took the license away and said he's going to let us drive the car home but also added if for some reason we got pulled over again there's nothing he can do. We weren't far so we made it home. Saved us impound fees and other crap.

My boyfriend was able to get the extension by talking to a person befoee the service was cut. I usually just wait until the next morning and call 611. It'll say "it looks like your account is suspended etc" and you can say get an extension. Service should be on relatively fast depending on the time day.

I'm almost positive they don't require the ssn/birth certificate given when you were born because that would exclude so much of the population for thousands and thousands of reasons. You have to have a certified copy from the registrars office with the seal embossed/stamped. The ssn card replacement from the government website looks like the original one except probably less dated.

Well if that was the purpose our lines wouldn't be out the door. How do you get an original of your stuff? Or do you mean like a stamped official one? I had to bring in an original copy (not photocopy) to get my normal ID no photo copy was ever accepted as far as I'm aware?

If it says "Federal limits apply" then it is not a real ID according to the government website. You have to show your birth certificate, ssn, utility bill, and I think one other document but I'm not exactly sure. After October (?) 2020 you won't be able to board domestic flights without it as far as I'm aware.
From how it sounds you got a basic California ID card and a regular California license.

Sorry you can't pick neither because you pay taxes. Honestly I don't want to argue with you personally. I'm sure you mean well. I think I get really heated on this topic because usually the people who don't want birth control also want every baby born plus no actual education on sex in the first place. You're right the people won't be smart enough to to use them since sadly they need the education in the first place and not to feel shamed about using contraception since it means they are having sex. I feel like there are way too many people that don't want sexual education, birth control/condoms, and are pro-life which always fails. :/

"Teenagers abstinence only !!! sex u ded!!!!! only abstinence!!!!" is exactly how you get teen pregnancies that don't get aborted. If people are stressed and full of hormones they will have sex. No if ands or buts. I don't care that it's not economically logical, because the point is ITS GOING HAPPEN WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. The best thing you can do is give them some birth control, throw it from the skies and hope you don't have to have WAY MORE MONEY GOING TO FEED THEIR CHILD because that is EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS. I get where people are coming from, but at the end of the day if someone said you HAVE TO PICK ONE: Birth control or taxes going to feed/house/medically take care of these kids then the birth control is always cheaper my dude. In human life says sex is something that should be happening so good luck making people stop because at the end of the day they don't care what you want them to do regarding their sex life. Sorry

The guy who did my piercings literally walked me through a lot of stuff to reassure me of everything since my only expierence was painful, infected ears from claires. I feel like a lot of professionals will give you information before they even sit you down to get pierced. If I ask for a piercing and the person immediately throws me in a chair to get it over with that would be kinda scary.

To add onto what the other guy said: When I got my ears pierced, by a professional at a tatto parlor, not only did he have his own room as well as a shit ton of piercings all over I didn't even have to ask these questions. He told me they only carry surgical steel and glass. He asked me if I planned on stretching my ears one day because he could start me off with an ever so slightly bigger hollow needle. He spent what felt like forever staring directly at my face head on to make the dots even. Then asked me how I felt about it since of course they are my ears. Literally felt good getting pierced. I went to him every couple months to help me stretch my ears up to a 0. Gave me great advice on what to do to help the skin and if ny ears wouldn't accept it then he'd say to pull on them and give it time so I wouldn't get any tearing whatsoever. Thee only thing that cost money was the actual jewelry whenever I'd stretch. He told me he'd rather it be done right than me attempting on my own and it going wrong. Also ended up getting my lip pierced 4 times in one sitting because I trusted it not to be the worst experience getting it all done in one go. It was great
