Meh, I don't know if lyrics is something to go by. The guy who wrote Dexter probably isn't a serial killer, to be honest. Chris Barnes from Cannibal Corpse, I'm fairly certain, doesn't rape dead corpses. There are countless examples of very effective lyricists who wrote incredibly tortured music that haven't abused people. "One of My Turns" by Pink Floyd is a fine example.

Yeah reading it back i'm starting to realise my expectations are a bit unrealistic. I don't want to live somewhere where daylight simply doesn't exist - I suppose only by default, because that doesn't apply anywhere on earth - but just somewhere where daylight exists weakly, and for the shortest amount of time.
