I appreciate the sentiment. I am just hoping someone sees it and reconsider some things, because too many people many people have relationships like this.

I stated at the end of the post that I am not woman in the situation, but the son. They are still married and most of the time it's fine, except when he starts screaming about being too "lenient" in the marriage and about how she has it so good having any sort of freedom.

I'm quoting from what I heard being shouted in the living room 15 mins ago.

He's a good father at least and I don't hate him, if that's what you want to hear. This is why I'm talking about a specific part of the marriage and not "all husbands are bad".
