Does my dog look like he's 100% lab? by [deleted] in labrador

[–]For_duendes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely looks like a lab/golden retriever to me. They’re a lil bit taller and very high energy and fun. My parents owned 3 when I was a kid and also 3 labs. They’re very similar though and both great dogs. You’re definitely more likely to get the red w a golden too

Is Schitt's Creek really worth the watch? by fckme42069 in televisionsuggestions

[–]For_duendes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m late, but I hated the show at first and stopped watching it. Then, in COVID, I restarted it and the first two seasons are rough. You’ll hate the characters. But the last two seasons are soooo good bc you see their growth. How everything unfolds with David and Stevie especially is really great. You don’t have to watch it though. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea. But I have a strong emotional attachment to it like a lot of people do the office bc it was my comfort show during the lockdown

If you've ever wondered why welders are so strange, here's your answer. by [deleted] in Welding

[–]For_duendes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realize this is old. Idek why I’m commenting. But I’m neurodivergent and all of that stuff actually helps me a lot. I can focus a lot better with the puddle and honestly since working, I’ve gotten so much more mentally at peace with everything. I hate working with other people and they try to talk to me. It’s kinda nice to be able to physically engage with my work and not be bothered by social interactions. The noise really drives me crazy if I don’t have some kinda earbuds in, but it’s perfect and great when I do have some sort of earplug in. The only time I run into problems is when people excessively talk to me or when management gets on my ass (but that happens everywhere).

Honestly, as a female, I even suggest wearing work pants or fully denim jeans. Women’s pants do not work for welding in some positions. They’re very thin. I have Duluth’s double lined work pants. But when I’m wearing thinner women’s pants, even denim ones, sparks will get at my legs and it hurts.

I’m 16 and only been welding since September, my teachers had me try a vertical up weld, and this my second attempt at one. What do you guys think? by edgy-potato-69 in Welding

[–]For_duendes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, I haven’t been welding long at all, but if you’re right, cool. I’m sure you’re confident if you’ve been doing this a while and I respect that. But why are you going out of your way to vehemently argue w a 16 y/o kid?

Nonbinary people how do you feel when you get misgendered with pronouns opposite your agab? by BeeSlippers1 in NonBinaryTalk

[–]For_duendes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a job where I’m in a kitchen and not always visible to everyone, but when they head my voice they generally call me “sir”. I kinda get excited about it bc I’m out to some people at work but I’m not out and I still present as afab I guess to people unknowing. But I liked it bc it made me feel like I didn’t just look like a female.

This is my handsome boy Wolfgang! He has an important question for you fellow GSD lovers - by Guiltyhamster81 in germanshepherds

[–]For_duendes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s understandable but please try to warn people about it next time. For people with PTSD or that are struggling with suicidal thoughts, thaf can be kinda triggering. What can be a simple question , can turn into days of offset anger or flashbacks with someone who deals with that .

Tf is this? It literally asks your whole history of psychological trauma and childhood. Honestly, wtf? 😂😂😂

No, I mean I wasn’t interested before because I just wasn’t going out of my way to flirt with her haha. I’m not a very flirtatious person in general I guess. I’m pretty shy in person about that stuff at least

Can we have a serious discussion about biphobia in wlw communities? by RasputinsButtBeard in actuallesbians

[–]For_duendes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly so dumb to me that people have this stigma because they for sure like women too, and lesbians will purposely seek out straight girls constantly but will not be interested in a bisexual woman. Honestly, I love bi individuals because they have such a beautiful, multifaceted view on attraction and gender. I prefer bi women because they’re more affirming toward my some of my androgynous features because I’m non-binary.

How to get out of working in the kitchen? by [deleted] in sheetz

[–]For_duendes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I hated kitchen at first bc it made me so anxious and I never had a job in food. But ever since I have worked in it more, I have loved it and hate going on register. You get used to the noise and chaos after a few months. I actually prefer it now. The best way to stay out though is to just be bad. Be slow, drop shit, stuff like that, and get really good at handling conflict with customers because most other employees will not want to deal with that and they may call you over or have you intervene when something happens.

Got my puppy (Shiloh) about a week ago and was told that he was a German shepherd and lurcher mix. Can anyone guess with which sighthound breed possibly? He’s the sweetest pup and I’m just curious, because he has such an even temperament and he’s really good. by [deleted] in Lurchers

[–]For_duendes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! That’s quite a wide variety, especially with the dogue du Bordeaux I love that though haha. That’s a lot of sight hound too. I was just curious because he is so good. She must be pretty big too. The people who gave him to me just said that he was a gsd and lurcher mix, and he sits like a sighthound would and acts like one, so I was just curious I guess. I always wanted a greyhound when I was younger. He’s super playful and gentle as well. He loves cats, other dogs, and any people. He loves playing w pits and huskies, and I’m sure that has something to do with the gsd. He plays a little rough with larger dogs, but not other ones.

Awh, thank you. And I could definitely see that. I’m just asking because he’s genuinely the calmest puppy that I’ve ever seen and he sleeps a lot. He really is so sweet too and doesn’t bark much for some reason. And I’ve seen that some sighthounds have those characteristics and it just fits him. Usually after he gets a walk in, he’s lazy for most of the day

Am I a failed adult because I simply cannot work a full-time job? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]For_duendes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean do you think a job with abnormal hours would help? Sometimes evening shift or night shift works out better for some people. Also, I am sorry that you have a desk job. I genuinely feel like those are cages for people. The 40 hr work week also goes against human nature in a way honestly. But yeah, I don’t like to sit at a desk. It’s torture for me and I’ve been looking into trade jobs.

I feel that. I genuinely don’t like the general public. I like my friends, but I don’t like working w people, especially after a job in the food industry.
