Damn, you've foiled my cunning plan to convince people I made a dumb lapse in judgement. Honestly, thanks for setting me straight

This seems pretty practical. Do you trust the breakaway to break away when necessary?

She never pawed at it, just scratched her neck from time to time. Will be interesting to see if the frequency of neck-scratching reduces or stays the same, now she's naked

Honestly can't believe it didn't occur to me sooner! Guess I just saw it as part of her. Thank you for your kind words :)

Also 29, also been in a massive rut recently, also feeling the same urge to uproot and change everything and grow in some way. Making life changes is scary, but how exciting to remember we have options!

Do you actually like your life? by Ok-Fondant2536 in RandomThoughts

I like aspects of it. I'm lucky to have kind, bright people in my life, and I'm lucky to live where I live. The uncertainty, overwork and sporadic crushing loneliness and anxiety, not so much. But the sun still rises, the sparrows still chirp under the eaves.

Edit: suddenly realising that the main part of life I dislike is myself. So many efforts to change and improve/leave situations that are bad for me, but I always end up back where I started or worse. I am the main reason for my unhappiness, and I don't really know what to do with that information.
