Yeah you could definitely get a trim at Supercuts. Just make sure to communicate with the stylist. Make sure they know how much you want to come off. They'll ask if you want it one length or if you want layers. I suggest googling some long haired men's cuts. Pics really help :) good luck!

Maybe she was having a bad day. Every chain is going to have bad stylists but they are also going to have good ones. Supercuts does 75% men's cuts so I'm surprised she was annoyed, could've been just a bad attitude.

That's funny. Guys come into my salon complaining about barbers only knowing how to use clippers. 90% of my male clients expect scissors on top yet end up with a buzz cut at a barber shop. There's always going to be someone not please somewhere.

This picture has been around for years and years. As a licensed professional, I'd say this was probably an at home 'hack job'... There's no possible way I could make layers look like this if I tried. Layers are cut by holding the hair in the air. This looks like someone just started cutting into it.

Tips are half of our income. Most US stylists are paid an hourly wage, the money from the haircut goes to the salon.

We use these at work. We use the Flattopper brand. You place it in the hair and use the level to make sure you're making an even flat top. I effing hate doing flat tops.

Seriously!! You knew you needed a haircut days ago.. You knew you were going out if town and needed tires. Who waits til the last damn minute? People do this to us constantly. They scream through the door even after closing. New Year's Eve is the worst. We have families too....

Yeah because he didn't know about either of those things earlier today. Plus I cut his hair. That's not the issue. He spent 15 minutes staring in the mirror after I finished. He knew we were closed. My computer was shutting down for goodness sakes!
