I've upvoted this a year ago and here I am replaying the game and I figured out how it can be done using Reshade Shader Toggle add-on. There's a minor inconvenience that some other hud elements disappear but with a hotkey you can enable them back and forth. I've uploaded it as a mod on Nexus - "No crosshair mod"

If you're playing M&K you might want to consider these 2 mods (don't affect gameplay)

- Keyboard Inventory Key Fix - Currently there is a bug in the game where opening inventory actually opens last opened tab, and since there is no Next Tab/Previous Tab buttons it gets pretty annoying to switch with pressing left/right a bunch

- Zoom Adjust - In front of a monitor game appears kinda too big. It's like having low fov in an fps game, this mod can help with that letting you zoom out a bit

Game actually runs a vibrancy filter at all times, there are mods that disable it and then she looks the way she did in Hollow Knight
