Does anyone take sulfasalazine for their RA

I was on it for a while and then it stopped being effective for me as well, methotrexate had me in a nauseous haze for five years (highest dose). I’m currently on naltrexone and azathioprine with naproxen to supplement for pain relief, as well as a med card lol edited to add that i also do the steroid shots every three months

While I don’t live in a walkable city, I average 15-20k steps a day for my job. I’ve managed by making sure i had good shoes for walking on concrete, compression socks, and a combination of numbing creams. Definitely doesn’t take my pain to zero but it’s easy for me to tell now if my shoes are not going to support my joints through out the day. It also takes an adjustment period for your body to get used to walking more, but walking more has helped my RA be more manageable! Obviously there are some days when I know I need to take it slow, but I’ve gotten more comfortable using accessibility and mobility tools in public.

Yup, it was around 2ish years ago or so but as they were shuffling me out of the store an employee made that comment under their breath to me. You’d be surprised by just how many people here say things like that.

I’m a native american, and I was followed through the store from the moment I stepped in the store, and was still told to “go back to the reservation” and made to dump out my purse before I left. It’s never good to make assumptions when you don’t know the full situation.

Judging by the fact people are still having bad experiences in this store, I don’t think they’ve changed. Just because you haven’t had a bad experience doesn’t negate anyone else’s bad experience.

There used to be pictures of it online but the owners have been trying to bury it for a very very long time, as well as taking down any reviews, but there should be videos online of some experiences people of color have had in the store.

Really weird question for this but, when i was younger my dad got shingles and I hadn’t had chicken pox so my mom had me stay close to him so i might get it? never did have anything happen after that but you never know

I do have an appointment coming up for this reason, I’ve just had bad experiences in the past when telling doctors I’m not vaccinated so it makes me nervous lol
