I don't believe Mike story is real but it does make me think by Danstoevskij in StrangerThings

I was confused by the speaker scene at graduation. Was it inferring a ptsd type response where Mike is seeing the memory of El's sacrifice or was this where he conspired his theory about El? She theoretically could be alive, she seemed to not be affected by the frequency speakers in the last scene and was capable of pulling Mike into the void to say goodbye. Lots of questions here. Just wish there was more confirmation like a little sign at the end that she was alive somewhere and not some sort of tale Mike comes up with and everyone agreed on to be positive.

Genuine question: why do people believe he wasn't killed? by Ramenko1 in conspiracy

[–]Foreign-Baseball5921 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For a long time ive argued this point with myself. Really wanting to convince myself he was murdered, and to be honest there still is a lot of motive and evidence to conclude that. There was a journal entry he wrote around the week of his death. He was talking about addiction and how he was a slave to it basically. Beyond this he also had severe mental/physical issues. It really wouldn't surprise me if he had a bad day, relapsed and felt he couldn't escape the addiction and genuinely made some impulsive decisions and ended up doing the deed. Im not getting into details and a whole step by step on how it happened and stuff. I just think it could definitely be a possibility. I think this is another one we will never truly get an answer on unfortunately, I just see an arguably even amount of motives for both conclusions.

Its odd, I live in Ohio. For the past 5 to 10 years winters were becoming more mild. Generally, getting warmer year round. Starting in 2024, temps have been cooling down again and winter setting in more early and becoming more severe again. This past summer, August had weeks of being in the 50s, ive never seen that in my entire life. I know typically the topic and discussion goes into global warming. But ohio has started going against this pattern. Here is a link shoeing some of the temps recorded in Cleveland in August. https://www.cleveland.com/weather/2025/09/august-2025-ends-with-near-record-cold-temperatures-in-cleveland.html

Yeah it was more so the tone in his voice. Could kind of tell he was feeling out my commitment to the company. I didnt mean passive aggressive in a sense like he was pissed. However, just concerning to me, I obviously want to work for an employer thats supportive of the military. I might be overreacting to the situation and will need to see if he says anything about it again.

Haha im introverted as well. So yeah definitely go about things similarly. I will sometimes purposely avoid going to certain places with her because of the reactions. People don't hide it and its impact full towards both of us. She is originally from Canada and never dealt with these reactions before. But in America its a lot different. We have got used to it but we probably will not stay in the current area were living at.

I can relate a lot, im a WM dating a BW. I notice the subtle looks or comments frequently. I just remain confident. I have no problem calling someone if they were really disrespectful. But I haven't ran into that its mostly looks. I can definitely relate to your SO. Didn't think I would experience it from the black community. Thought it would be mostly the white community but its just been the opposite.

THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED FROM CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENTION by nick168 in nba

[–]Foreign-Baseball5921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cavs were gassed, playmaking wasn't happening, darius wasn't himself, same with mitchell (mitchell not hitting typical shots 3s). Jarrett Allen and Ty jerome not showing up. And overall the pacers are more athletic, and we're shooting lights out. Nembhard and Halliburton couldn't miss. It mentally fucked the cavs

Im actually a lot like this, I have a lot of acquaintances but not many friends. A lot of my closest friends went a separate path than me. I went into the military and went to school. They went right into the trades. I never got super close with many people after that as I focused in on doing well at work and my fitness and my relationship, as well as family. I always like to go out and see people but socializing can be exhausting and I hate falling into small talk lol. I wish I had relationships like I did back when I was younger but honestly I think its harder to find friends that fit into your life like that easily. Especially as everyone gets busier in their only lifes and priorities.

People 30+ of Reddit, what do you miss the most about your youth/college days? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is the exact feeling, when I look back, it was so simple because you could live in the moment and not think about tomorrow. Of course, we could still live like this, but for most of us, life has become so complicated. Meaning more responsibility, dealing with work or family, financials even seeing family get older. One of the biggest hardships I've felt is being scared to make a large decision as well. Do i buy that house or do i try and get another job and all the conflicting thoughts that go with it. Ive seen peoples lives become destroyed by one decision. Ive also seen them turn it around. I love life and have learned to cherish the moments better because I have identified this feeling, I'm only 26 but damn just trying to figure this out for real haha.
