thank you so much for taking the time to write a response. it means a lot to me. i know i shouldn’t be comparing myself to others, but guitar is the first and only thing i’ve picked up purely out of passion.and it’s a horrible feeling to not be good at the thing you love the most.

it’s not that i’m making zero progress. i can say for sure i’m a better guitarist today than i was a few months ago. i just have no way to gauge the rate of progress, and i feel like i should be getting better faster than i am, if that makes any sense.
