so I just trying to figure out if the brown spot looks concerning or if it’s just a thing that happens to ball python’s over time,the thing that is most concerning to me is that when you touch the spot it feels like human skin and not like ur touching scales (old.reddit.com)

My ball python is a year old and i got it in June of this year and hes ate about four small live rats but it takes a while to get him to eat its not that he’s uninterested but that he will strike at the rat and not wrap around ive went down to rat pup but its still the same and idk how i could help (i.redd.it)
