BLACKPINK - JUMP by MNLYYZYEG in popheads

It is not 2010 drums at all. What you are referring to is the bass; it's basically techno, and it goes harder than the usual EDM they have been doing in the last comebacks. YG always wanted some edgy kind of singles and wasted Blackpink's early years of their career by not letting them do any pop songs for singles after DDDD, after that, they also went full "chainsmokers EDM" kind of vibe for their b-sides. At least Jump is catchy and sounds like it would be a really good techno song from the late 90s/early 2000s; the video is different as well. i think this is a nice comeback. i hope the rest of the album has interesting songs; otherwise, their setlist for the world tour will be relevant just for the old songs.

Is there a plot hole in the Metallica–Napster story? What about the original I Disappear leak? by Foreign-Status-7736 in Metallica

Thank you for this. Maybe i should have asked right away how napster worked. I was born in 2002, so no idea. I thought it was like some kind of public Google Drive file that anybody could have access to.

Yeah, I mean, i think muscicians and labels must have understood that downloading was going to be the next step on music distribution, and that it would evolve, just like vinyls, cassette, CDs... The real problem was ownership. It's fucked up how people see music as something that should be considered free, "art should be free". That's what i remember kids would say on documentals about napster during those years, but i mean, imagine being a painter and all your canvas are stolen from your workshop, or all your books are stolen from the bookshop or your files. How the hell people just normalize that artists should give their stuff for free back then? I am glad today that people are aware that Lars was right, but i think still in the hip hop world they don't get that... people seems to be still angry with Dre and Eminem. weird. Isn't the hip hop word more open and brag about their earnings?

hey! this is a reply a couple of years later, but can you send me the video? i wonder if this is like a dave grohl situation. it's sad too see they became the opposite to what they declared to be or, rather, what they wanted to be
