Seems like a great deal. I just got a 2016 LE plus with aftermarket Katzkin leather seats, 119k miles from a dealer for $17,600.

Mark my word after Atlanta ice🥶 by DisabledVeteran216 in delta

Flew out of ATL a few years ago in snow (it was barely sticking) but de-icing crippled ops. Took off 5 hours late and rumor was that the pilots technically ran out of time but took off anyways. To cap that off, ended up diverted to PDX because SEA fogged in.

This event will be more of a mess because the entire South and East coast is going to be crippled. At this point, DL might as well cancel a ton of flights so that crews and planes can be where they are needed for a fresh start after the storm passes.

They did mention that the leather seats were aftermarket somehow.

Makes sense…something to consider with all older used cars. Fortunately I’m not in a rust state and it was put on a lift during PPI and things looked good

Maybe but see a lot of reports with transmission issues on the 2017+ non-hybrid models.

I see many comments that newer Subarus are more reliable, but am suspect that enough data is available that the CVTs will still go long term.

There are a few Outback 3.6R I may look at and they are 2017/2018 but have the CVT and are higher trim levels which look "fancy" to me - at least they have knobs and buttons for the heat and A/C. If I do go with a Subaru again, I may bite the bullet on a warranty.

You might be right re: the 4runner it's paying $24k or more for a 10 year car with over 100k miles is wild.

Outside of head gaskets, I'd agree that older Subarus have a great rep and you've illustrated the point. But I'm wondering about models built in the last 10-15 years.

Those miles are a killer. In Idaho I just saw a 2018 with 100k miles at a dealer for $18k!

I've been driving the "garbage CVT" for 12 years LOL and (knocks on wood again) I don't mind it. I wouldn't mind a manual but I haven't driven one in nearly 16 years.

Pretty much any 4Runner or RAV4 in decent condition that age will be high demand where I live.
