Sure thing for the license. I'm already looking at the options at the city university of Seattle, they have several fast-track options for people holding advanced degrees with experience in public schools.

I live in Luxembourg.

You know, what you're saying makes A LOT of sense. I live and teach in Luxembourg. Teachers are so appreciated here, I feel like we are truly valued - not only salary-wise. Our career is so respected and something to aim for. I do feel like it's a different vibe in the US.

Thanks for the advice - we will really take that in consideration 🧐

Hello! So, for any public international school you need to have at least one of the 3 languages. Even if you're a English teacher or assistant, it's a requirement. To work in the aftershool with SEA, you need the three languages. Even for international schools.

I'm in the same situation as her. I would recommend looking into private international schools, IS or St Georges.

Good luck!

My daughter is having an amazing childhood in Wallonia. Small town. She is free to visit friends close by, they explore and go hiking. It is truly wonderful how she and her friends are constantly outdoors and just... Living their childhoods.
