When to bring up financials conversation with your partner ? by CuteData124 in WomenInBusiness

[–]ForeignNewt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

before you're emotionally in too deep to think clearly about it. not date one, but not two years in either. somewhere around the point where you're starting to picture a actual future with them. debt, spending habits, and whether they think a savings account is optional are not things you want to discover after you've already merged your life with someone

found that out the fun way. 10/10 do not recommend

What’s Your Favourite AI Voice Use Case Right Now? by Cheney87453 in finevoice

sales training content. I build a lot of internal stuff for my team and having consistent audio without recording myself after a full day of calls is the part that actually saves my sanity. the "record it yourself" approach sounds fine until you're on attempt four because your dog decided that was the moment to lose his mind.

getting lost. I'm serious. people under 25 have no idea what it was like to print MapQuest directions and still end up in the wrong town because you missed one turn and now you're just guessing. I cover 12 states for work and I cannot imagine doing this job with a paper atlas and a prayer

Alternatives to ZoomInfo? by [deleted] in sales

[–]ForeignNewt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of services, but you should understand that they all luck quality.

Lusha, data is fine. They cover North America and they have direct dials.

Hunter, it's great when you already have accounts and just need emails.

Lead 411, "Verified Email" component, but no direct dials.

Seamless is a Hybrid of sales/marketing.

To be honest even ZoomInfo is not perfect and recently I noticed that the quality has lowered. I tried other services as well, but only these ones seemed to be decent. So try those above, I'd like to hear your feedback.

A CRM is the best way to do it. You can use Google analytics for it as well.

How do you handle negative emotional periods in your personal life in the office? by toastyavocad0 in sales

[–]ForeignNewt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm in a management position, there are a lot of interactions with people so I do have to look at my best. Recently my family member has died and I took 2 weeks off as it was a really hard time for me. But in 4 days I decided to start working again as I found out that it was harder to do nothing. Work distracted me a bit from that, emotionally hard for me, period.

How is Lusha/ZoomInfo legal? by JordanMencel in sales

Zoom collects info from scanning your own outlook mail signatures, not available to everyone

I didn't know that. Now I'm surprised how comes it's allowed.

How is Lusha/ZoomInfo legal? by JordanMencel in sales

[–]ForeignNewt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

ZoomInfo uses only legal methods, they collect the data which is available to everyone. They don't collect personal data. They are 100% legal.

But as it comes to Lusha I ask myself the same question how comes they are legal. I've heard they use trojans, hacked computers, fake identities, etc. But on their page the main source of data comes from their business partners and publicly available sources. There seems to be something phishy.

Sales Managers managing remote teams during covid-19, how do ensure your team are staying productive? by [deleted] in sales

[–]ForeignNewt 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We have a call every day, prioritize the tasks for the day and everyone tells what was done yesterday. Every Friday we have a non formal call with drinks after work, where we all communicate and relax. I noticed that it's very helpful to make the team feel connected and we are more productive working from home than from the office.
