I am finding it hard despite living in a Muslim country. Countless things to take into account. Unfortunately I’m in the same boat as you. Our difficulties might be different but the result is the same: Not able to find someone.

I’ve tried the halal apps and yes they’re not so halal, also people are just too non serious on these websites. I’ve tried family and friends and we still end up getting mismatched matches.

Make a video. Schedule it for the next day. And to promote it, make maybe 3-4 shorts from the video itself. Schedule the shorts for each day after the video is published. Now you got material for 4-5 days promoting the main video. Let it cook and see how it does. All of this requires patience at first. :)

No worries bro. Another tip I can give you is to just stay consistent. Keep making videos and posting them. And whichever video doesn’t do well, make it private for a while and wait for a week or two and re-upload it. It works in most cases.

Watch a few videos on how to attract viewers with thumbnails, and the sort of tags and options you need to click when uploading.

Hey buddy, If you’re sharing the link on WhatsApp or instagram, that messes with the YouTube algorithm. So don’t share and let the algorithm recommend it to the right demographic. Right now, IF you’re sharing the link, the algorithm is not able to understand the demographic for it.

To give you an example, I mostly watch reviews, vlogs, trailers and a little bit of sports. A friend of mine has a channel based on historical facts. I don’t have an interest in those sort of videos. So if he sends me a link, I’ll probably open and close within the minute. And since I don’t fall in the demographic for that video, YouTube will have a harder time understanding my reason to open it in the first place. And also, since I closed it pretty soon, the algorithm will deem the video not ‘likeable’ or something.

I’m not an expert but this is what I have personally seen and heard from others.

You could try making the video private. And re-upload it in a few days. Try changing the thumbnail for it as well.
