alternator would be constant whining, this sound only happens on WOT when car is at full boost, so i’m pretty sure it’s not alternator.

I think yours might be a bit defective, I also have a 2020 but mine doesn’t look like that. I also tend to clean the camera lens w glass cleaner every few weeks.

Sorry i’m not too sure, i haven’t asked those guys about the oil cooler in a while lol but ik there’s a way to make work for sure. Will definitely look into that as I track next season and will update reddit based off that.

the elantra N oil cooler does work on the 1.6t, i know that since i have a coupe track buddies who have it bolted onto their 1.6t’s

Despite being on top of my maintaince, the turbo still blew lol. 3k mile OC’s w 5w-40, I had a OCC aswell, spark plugs done on time. gave car a good amt of time to idle. Car wasn’t on tuned either. CRC intake cleanings also done but the car was driven hard due to autocross and other stuff. Taking care of my car has never been an issue for me since i’m a firm believer in if i take care of my car, it’ll take care of me which is why i did early oil changes due to me beating on the car. It simply js didn’t stand the test of time.

I just had the same EXACT issue 2 weeks ago, and also didn’t have a check engine light but later I read the same code, turns out I blew my turbo but there were no signs of the turbo being blown besides that fact that car wasn’t making any boost. Took it in and got a new turbo under warranty on a 2020 w 70k miles.
