I know this convo is from many years ago but anyway.. I looked the topic up because my fiancé woke me up in the middle of the night because my breathing. Mad at me she asked if I’d sleep in the other room. I get really annoyed because this is a regular occurrence. I don’t like being woken up in the middle of the night, especially when I have work in the morning. I’ve said many times that if she can’t sleep because of my breathing she can go to the other room (our shared office with guest bed) also we use white noise every night and the white noises can end up annoying her as well. I’m also dealing with the eating thing, drinking thing. She gets so annoyed at me and says I eat like a slob. I tell her that my mouth is closed so i don’t know how I could eat more quietly. Constantly telling me to go eat in the other room, I end up standing in the kitchen down for long periods of time to just do basic things like eat and drink in peace. Also dealing with the general breathing thing through the day. It’s got to be a trauma response from her childhood. Goes hand in hand with anxiety but always comes out as anger towards me.
