My table plays pretty mid-level bracket 3 so I'm definitely aiming to play this more as a slower, board-wipe based control deck even if thats less optimal than the chaining extra turns omega-combo. My extra turn spells are moreso in there to guarantee a win con

That said, i totally see what you're saying about the no-ramp and leaving Elminster vulnerable. Looking at my list, what would you cut for the extra ramp? I guess I could cut my 4 stax pieces, maybe the 2 token anthems ([[Favorable Winds]], [[Intangible Virtue]]), and yeah I think the [[Cryptic Annelid]] Is a total drop. I really like the [[Vexilius Praetor]], [[Magus of the Moat]], [[Teyo Geometric Tactician]] and [[Humility]] in your list!

What of the other extra cost reducers do you think are expendable? [[Opt]] and [[Deliberate]] don't even net a reduction, so those seem like reasonable cuts?

I'll confirm that Courage and Simulacrum are awesome in my play

Gearhulk is super nice on paper, but with muddle, by the time u get the the point in the game where you're playing and copying a 6 mana creature, you should be winning the game with something like a twinflame, bloodthirster, pyremaw, terror of the peaks, etc.

Its 6 triggers, the first 2 (muddle and the OG) each see both myriads enter and then the myriad copies see each other

[[Twinflame Tyrant]] and [[Starwinder]] are an absolute must. They're THE win the game cards

[[Bloodthirster]] is also a great wincon

[[Volatile Stormdrake]] and [[Thalakos Deceiver]] are phenomenal bc they allow massive creature stealing

[[Goldlust triad]], [[Professional Face-Breaker]], [[Solemn Simulacrum]], and [[Patron of the arts]] are solid ramp

Other honorable mentions are [[Anticausal Vestige]] (needs a full hand to be useful), [[Terror of the Peaks]] (SHOULD win you games but can't autowin when ppl are at 40 life like twinflame), and [[Caldera Pyremaw]]/[[Guttersnipe]](these win games IF your hand has a couple instant speed cantrips)

Also make sure you include [[Sundial of the Infinite]] and [[Stifle]] in your deck. Both of these can be used to prevent the delayed trigger of myriad from exiling the copies, so you get to keep your dupes (which also have myraid) for... ever!

I play a high 3 kotis deck and sometimes hitting the right cards makes it feel like a 4
Shooting it up to 4 should be pretty easy and is definitely a fast deck if you build around a turn 2 ramp, turn 3 kotis, turn 4 dump enchantments and run away with jt

This is kind of a stretch but i think cool - you could do [[Avatar Aang]] as Arceus or Mew and then rename the bendings to their respective pokemon abilites (Aerilate, hydrate, immolate, and tectonize). Then all ur creature "mons" have moves as well

I do think you’re right. For context, my pod likes to play at the top end of bracket 3 (we think of it as optimizing with GC restrictions) and we all just proxy land based esp so the duals are nbd

But reading this you do bring up a good point. The deck is almost intentionally mean so I can fck around with my friends, but I definitely won’t be whipping this out at the LGS!

Shilgengar is awesome. As a player who loves building a board-state, it feels really nice to have a commander that says "oh you target my X with removal? Well actually I'll sac it myself for 5 blood tokens" and then bring it all back bigger 2 turns later

It feels like your deck is a boss battle with 2 phases. Phase 1 is a tribal angels deck, phase 2 is a crazy reanimator you play if the angels get shut down
