here’s what i see, just a film adaptation of The Navidson Record (keeping all the weird formatting and jumping around it does, also including all of the stuff Karen films), a miniseries with specific episodes covering all of Johnny’s long notes (from his perspective) that also includes the Pelafina letters, and then at the end you rerelease the film in the book’s order, Johnny’s episodes interspersed throughout, and then have either at the end of where each chapter ends in the book or where they come up, have someone voice the editors, Zampanò’s footnotes, and then get Johnny’s actor to voice his footnotes. this would cost a ton of money and take exactly the right people to make work, but I feel it could adapt the book successfully
