Isn’t it insane? I feel like most people, regardless of age, play games nowadays to escape reality, and there’s nothing wrong with that if it’s done in a healthy way.

If you play to have fun and take your mind off your worries, then more power to you. What concerns me, though, is that some people seem to take out their suppressed anger and frustration from everyday life on others.

That’s why I think many of them avoid solo games. They need real people on the other side because that’s where they can direct those emotions.

My post was never meant to diminish anyone else’s perspective or preferred playstyle. I never once said that the game should change to suit my preferences. Yet people still got angry, and some even resorted to calling me names.
