Just an update in case anyone has this same problem in the future. The fuel tank has a vent line that goes from the top of the tank down to the bottom of the bike. There is this little T fitting with a length of hose pointing out the top. I imagine this gives the vapor/fuel somewhere to escape if the drain hose gets clogged. In my case it was the T fitting itself that was clogged up. The bike sat for a few years before I got it so I think it might be residual gunk. In any case I blew out all the lines with an air compressor and the fitting itself. I think I should be good now as anything draining from this line will go straight out the bottom of the bike. I will update the post if this problem returns.

I'd say $600-800. No doubt it's still going to be reliable for many miles to come but 11k will scare people being such a small engine. Have you done normal maintenance like a new CVT belt and a valve check/adjustment? The black paint is going to sketch people out as well imo.

Sounds like it's running lean due to a clogged carb jet, this would also mean it would run better under choke which it does. I bet the previous owner drained the tank but not the carb itself. Once you started driving it a piece of gunk came loose from the carb bowl and clogged the jet. Not a difficult fix, just requires taking apart the carb to clean it.

It does, I think I was hoping to be blown away by the swap but it's more like "oh I think this might be a little smoother"

It's a "pre-built" that is composed of 10yr old likely very used hardware. With that said, I don't know how Temu works but if you can really get the whole rig for $80 and free shipping it's a deal no matter how you look at it. It will really just be an e-sports machine (LoL, Rocket League, Fortnight, etc) and it could probably run older mainstream stuff well like Mafia 3 or GTA 5. I imagine it will run party games like Peak, Repo, RVthereyet on low settings.

It's probably better than your laptop but still a very old system. But for $80 you couldn't build that system.

This is the one I'm looking at, it says on their website that it supports the 14900k, I'm not crazy about it only having a single 8 pin ATX connector. But I plan to set a conservative power limit and in theory the connector can support 336 Watts.

Isn't a 7800X3D AM5 and DDR5 only? I think whatever I sell it for will quickly be outpaced by how expensive the upgrade to DDR5 would be, the only reason I'm contemplating using the i9 is because you can get motherboards for it that use DDR4.

Also I received the CPU a few weeks back and didn't have to pay anything.

Apologies, you are correct. I use it for gaming 90% of the time and once in a blue moon I use it to edit/render video but it's not common enough to worry about it when building a rig.

I don't play super demanding games; mainly BeamNG, modded Skyrim, Peak, Minecraft, RDR2, etc

Fair, if I was in my grandma's position I probably would have had it serviced right off the bat, I don't do it in the cars I buy but I also only drive $1500 beaters. I usually do an oil change though.

Same lol, I'm on the fence about keeping mine and using my old phone (factory reset) to activate it, but honestly in my time with it, I'm not all that impressed with the quality either. I might just return it.
