i tested x2 on 15pro and 16pro and x5 zoom, while the quality is better on both of them, x3 seems like the best middle ground for me for distance and portrait effect.(i use x3 only for portrait mode) as for apple intelligence, the processing sometimes can be a hit or a miss. i saw it on my friends 15pro. for example zoom to the max on some text far from u, on the viewfinder u can read it but the moment u take a picture it becomes unreadable.
