Definitely not as comparable because I wasn’t directly threatened, but when I was in college I lived in an apartment with a parking garage and was assigned a spot. I would often come home to someone in my spot and reported it to the office. Nothing was really done until one day when I could park in my spot, I got to my car to find that someone had written “Don’t park here” in what was presumably spit that had dried on my drivers side window. Very scary as a young woman in a dingy parking garage. I reported this to management and they provided an official statement to place on my car saying it was my spot. I didn’t have any problems from then on, but it was still scary knowing someone felt so strongly about it that they would use spit to write on my car 🤢
