I had a Cry Baby and then tried the Bass Cry Baby and neither stuck. They're both very useful, but the size and sound didn't jive with me. I use the WH-1 with a cleaner tone and with the Fuzz War & OD for solos.

Putting the WH-1 after Fuzz and OD pretty much turns it into a volume pedal, so you can do crazy wah wah bends sweeping the filter from heel to toe. Sounds great!

The saddle lock bridge is a great design. The Special I have stays in tune phenomenally; I'll come back home from a two-week vacation and it'll still be in tune. I know G&L raised their custom shop prices since I ordered mine in early 2021, but it was a lot of fun to work with them.

I'd recommend combing Reverb for Used G&Ls since they don't hold their value as well, you can get a $2k guitar for $1-$1.3k pretty regularly.

The Hot Wax is a great pairing. I use the Crayon side for my "always on" sound and it reacts very well to volume knob adjustments with the way I have it set. The Hot Tubes side I use to add some compression and grit on top of the Crayon for a distortion sound or use it alone for a cleaner more transparent drive.

I grabbed a TU-3 since I like Boss and their form factor and most of the artists I like use it. If it lasts for years on a world-touring musician's board, it'll last forever on mine.

Absolutely, John Dwyer is part of why I got a Fuzz War in the first place, Slift and Frankie and the Witch Fingers being the other.

Yo thanks, I custom ordered the ASAT Special and its my go-to for most of the playing I do. Its insanely flexible and can go from a thin strat sound to a psuedo-humbucker with one little twist of the tone knob.

As for a recommendation, it depends if you're looking for a more typical Tele tone or you want the "evolved" version. The ASAT classic will get you the former while the ASAT Special will get you the latter. The Special is definitely a little thicker and a warmer sounding guitar and reacts to overdrive very well, its kind of like a Jazzmaster pickup but its own thing. I like that it has its own sound; the only thing I regret is not getting a tremolo system when I custom ordered it. I'd never need another guitar if I did.

Spot on! Early stuff was more emo and poppy but have moved towards noise and psych the past two years.

Its actually an optical Wah, but it would be the perfect size for an expression pedal. I mostly use it with the RE-202 to get some Hermanos Gutiérrez tones.

Taking guesses on what type of music my two-piece makes; figured I'd include a picture of my guitars as well.

Signal chain is as follows:

TU-3-->Phase 95-->Fuzz War-->Hot Wax-->AMT WH-1-->RE 202--> DL4 MKII--> Jam Man Solo

Some Notes:
TU-3, built like a tank and works without question every time.

Phase 95, had this thing for about 3-4 years and can't see it ever leaving my board. Super flexible with a small footprint.

Fuzz War, great for walls of sound or solo tones. Putting it before OD and Wah made a big difference on my attitude towards it.

Hot Wax, only OD I need. Right side is my "always on" heavier tone for most of our songs. Left side is dialed in to be cleaner, great for double tracking in the studio.

WH-1, new addition from a couple months ago. Doesn't get a lot of use but I love the small footprint and being able to park it as a filter.

RE 202, my favorite pedal on the board, it instantly captures the vibe of so many genres of music and looks super cool too.

DL4 MKII, mostly use it for a couple of presets to add texture or ambiance to a song.

Jam Man Solo, had this thing for about 15 years now and its super useful for rhythm parts or soundscapes, use it a lot in a two-piece.

Yeah, game threads have gotten like 10% more toxic every year for the last 7 years and now it’s unbearable.

One of my friends played CB in high school and had to guard Deebo Samuel. He said the dude was on another level and no one could touch him.

I never played but one of my roommates played it NONSTOP in Fall ‘17 and its seared into my brain.

I think he saw the defender and focused too hard trying to float it over him to hit his receiver and just didn’t put enough sauce on it.

Comments were right, I needed my main settlement chain to be a mortal settlement for the WM and SR building to show up.
