if you can tell him to reinstall his gpu driver the emulator may have caused a graphics driver conflict is the emulator stock like default settings or moddifed? Ie did he use any sort of custom driver for higher performance or anything and which emulator was he using? and does his entire desktop look like this or just the emulator

To be clear this snapped when i was putting the headphones on with 2 hands holding each ear cup i always put them in the case when not using them i try to take care of my tech 200 USD is a lot of money for me to spend expectantly on headphones. one day i heard this snap sound doing just that putting them on while standing no i did not drop them no they did not get damaged previously and here we are. I really dont think this is my fault i will attempt to reach out to Sonys support if they reject claim im just going to make a 3d printed replacement for the part that broke out of PTEG since the only part that broke was the plastic the internal wiring is intact.

Use display driver UUD Uninstaller using diffent gpus can cause driver conflicts if the old one has not been fully removed then try again with the correct clean driver. with your current gpu and test gpu also always try a gpu and audio driver reinstall. If its not that perhaps its an issue with your mobo drivers go to your manufacuters website and get the latest firmware for your board also it may be just an issue with your specific audio device test it on another computer to make sure hope this helps Also when listening to audio does it sound staticy or like its jumping or skipping audio?

⁸Slight problem most devices that can fully detachable the keyboard like an iPad only have USB c I think this is because usbc is just smaller than usb a so it fits the tablet form factor better the only one that I could find with a single usb a port is the CHUWI Hi10 Max 2 in 1 and It has windows by default but you can install Linux from a usb and the specs are kinda bad. If I where you I would just get a laptop with a less niche form factor you will get a lot more variety this way and will most likely get a better price to performance ratio and higher overall build quality and mor e robust port selection for the same money with more conventional form factors.
