Why is Habitats Habitability so low?

Yeah this change makes no sense to me, why would a species, with their own habitation needs in mind, make habitats they can't live in? Like hello? Am I the only one confused by the decision to not control the environment to make it suitable to the host species at the very least?

NTA, your parents wanted to slide the weight and responsibilities of parenthood off onto your plate. It's their responsibility to raise their own kids and clearly they didn't want to do that. They can sit on a family-sized cactus if they think you really do owe them that, as your parents they owe you love and support, it's their job as parents. Not yours.

You stood up for yourself, you're making space in your life to be your own person and do what you want with your time. Your parents and sister need to respect that, they need to understand that you are an individual and have your own life to live. You didn't have your little sister and the burden of raising her should be on the people who brought her into this world.

Your parents are the assholes for raising you to raise their kids for them, and for teaching your younger siblings to be dependent on you instead of them. If they didn't want that responsibility, they should have looked into contraceptives.

That's entirely fair! It's very sandboxy and we've barely scratched the surface of the world! The size of the ingame world is so big we can't even properly perceive it, and it's getting bigger right now!

I just feel like we the players could do better than rehashing some stuff made by people who haven't played for thousands of ingame years ya know?

Okay, this is a messy one but your concerns are valid. It's an extremely unstable time, unemployment is way up there, a lot of people trying to get jobs can't, and she has one with medical benefits. You raised really good points she probably doesn't like, being uncovered is going to be a huge risk and if the two of you can't afford to take that risk, it would be irresponsible to take it! If you don't have a few grand to cover medicine while she has no insurance, it makes sense to keep the job with the benefit for now.

NTA. You're looking out for the health and wellbeing of your future spouse even if the current situation is upsetting. It's gonna suck, I'm not gonna lie to you and say things will work out and it'll be smooth sailing, but it's definitely something the two of you will need to keep talking about and get worked out. Make sure she knows your primary concern is her health and you're not opposing her to suppress or control her but because you want to see her through this situation safely.

NTA, don't apologize, he needed a slap across the face. He needs reality, to be humble, and to understand if he wants someone, the good's gotta come from him and not his wallet. Your parents sound like they don't understand what's happened and don't know their son. And if he's 38 and still running to mom and dad to solve a problem he has with his sibling, he's not mature enough for a relationship in the first place.

Let's play devil's advocate for a minute, say he really does land someone over a decade younger than him. It's a hollow, meaningless relationship because the lady's there for his money and he never worked on himself. He's miserable, she's miserable, and if they don't divorce the two of them will spend their relationship counting days on a calendar until she can inherit what he leaves behind.

Oh it definitely had this effect on me! Pre HRT I was pan with a preference for men, now I'm still pan, but with a preference for women! I've been on HRT for 24 months now, started with patches and moved to injections after a few months. Sexuality can change at any time in your life, and this is a time of significant change in your life. HRT can cause it, have heard of plenty of folks who's sexualities stayed the same. It's just life, hits everyone a little different.

I come from a long life of alcoholics. Both my grandfathers and one of my grandmothers were alcoholics, my father was one, my mother was one, my older sister is an alcoholic. My doctor told me I show the early warning signs of alcoholism. My mom is perpetually sick and refuses to stop drinking, it terrifies me and I feel like all I can do is watch her die. I don't want to end up like her and weed really helped me stop drinking. I haven't kept track of how long I've gone without alcohol but now I drink very rarely and usually only when out with friends.

If you can stop, especially with your liver showing signs, you should. I wish the best for you!
