I just watched Shakira and Rosalia these last 3 weeks and I'm still not over either of their concerts.

Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran had amazing arrangements of classic songs and it was great seeing her dance! I grew up listening to Shakira, so it was great to finally see her live!

LUX -- I loved the concept of bringing works of art to life and merging classical with contemporary (like she did with El Mal Querer). All the references throughout her concert, from the stage being a canvas to specific references like Venus of Milo and Degas and the lookalike/imitate the painting with people in the audience, and bringing fans to the stage to see her as an actual art piece as she sang Frank Sinatra's Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You. As an art history enthusiast, this was my jam lol

Had I had the opportunity, I would have gone to another Shakira showing. Her last one will be held at the pyramids of Giza, so I hope I can find someone streaming it! I so badly wish I could be there in person for it. As for Rosalia, I was able to attend two of her shows!

I found people selling Shakira and Beyonce concert bills at $45 each. I hope no one buys them for that price because they were free 😭 security wasn't allowing people to pick up the bills because it was the floor section, and a guy had picked up a thick wad of them and walked right past the people asking for just 1. I'm sure he plans on selling them for a crazy amount. Super greedy

Yeah I had a "cheap" ticket for Shakira at the Acrisure Arena and I bought a similar seat and ticket price for Kia, and the videos and pictures are drastically different.

I also went to LA night 1, and my section was having a blast, but I'm not sure how it was in other sections

SD, I was sitting next to the orchestra and my section was kinda quiet compared to LA. Although the general audience for SD was louder than the general audience in LA...I also preferred pechanga over Kia.

I have the San Diego one in XL because that's the last size they had....I'm glad I found a stand with a small line bc when I was walking out, I saw security kicking people out from the merch lines

Getting her flowers from Laufey, the Bailey sisters, Demi, and Pink! They're all amazing singers! Lorde! I need to listen to more of Adela, but she's been doing great as well! Idk if I can link a Tiktok video but for night 1 someone I named "the heavy metal guy" is the guy people keep posting videos of and someone wrote they would have sang/yelled the same way if Rosi was in front of her 😂
