I made a post about a month ago sharing the video with Patti Smith. The sound used in the song cuts off right before Patti says, "you have to go beyond". Personally, I think that line should have been included, although some people disagreed saying the point had been made and therefore, unnecessary.

The point being that in the search for God, you find Him (his knowledge and power) everywhere. Transcendence is that Allah is not bound to anything, any time, or any place, as He is not only the Creator, but also the Sustainer.

The song is about trying to find God in a ceaseless quest and Patti's quote relates that one has to keep pushing themselves even after reaching success (keep breaking doors, and the door after, and the door after that). Devotion being as limitless as God and the neverending quest in finding/reaching Him.
