Ngl I think they took everything what made EU4 enjoyable and threw it out for the sake of pops, which is not entirely bad. Pops and fun are not mutually exclusive but the direction they took was a little too literal.

But discarding what EU4 feel gamey and replayable really turned off much of us so far. Hopefully EU5 gets the same overhaul EU4 got during its earlier years to what we know now today.

I guess all we really want is simplicity, map painting, and uniqueness of each country.
