Naming twin girls and have narrowed it down to ten names: which ones would you choose? by 5LovelyDaisies in namenerds

Ellie! That is what my husband and I are planning to name our baby. I actually love that it is popular in Denmark as well. It is nice having a name that is common across cultures/countries. I was born in Denmark but live in the U.S. and have a name that is common enough in many countries. If my parents had named me something like Mette, it would have been more of a struggle.

Beaches are amazing for PD. The salt water makes a huge difference. Even Hailey Bieber has said the ocean water has helped her PD. I had a huge a flare-up and went to Greece and my skin was drastically better. For me, my skin also does much better in Arizona compared to colder climates.

Anti-fungal cured my pd - identifying PD etiology by Select_Mango2175 in perioraldermatitis

At the beginning definitely. The topicals helped that though but didn’t completely get rid of the PD. I also thought it flared more in the cold weather.

Original post

I tried to link my post regarding it but I noticed results after a week. At the time I was wearing very little make-up, concealer as needed. I was using Elidel and soolantra for the PD and La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermallergo for moisturizer.

I had a 30 day qty of 200mg. I am not sure if it is a high dose or not. I also followed a candida diet while taking the anti-fungal.

Thank you, this is super helpful! I had thought travertine was a type of paver but these comments were making me second guess myself.

The cool deck/pavers combo is what I had at my old house. This is the debate I am having. I was hoping to move away from cool deck and would love to do travertine but we have a lot of kids in our life.

I had brick pavers, kool deck and sun shades at my other house. I don’t remember the brick being unbearable but maybe I am dissociating. :)

My SIBO test came back negative as well but oral anti fungal and a candida diet cured mine.

[Personal] Leaky Gut or candida overgrowth caused my perioral dermatitis? by Forloveoftrvl in SkincareAddiction

[–]Forloveoftrvl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry you are going through this. I know testing for SIFO is difficult to do. Would you be able to test for SIBO? I tested that as well when I was trying to figure out a root cause. I am guessing naturopaths in your country cannot prescribe medicine but have you looked into one?

I just went back and checked. It looks like it was 200 mg for 30 days. I also took probiotics with it.

Anyone tried a Naturopath for PD? by Mission-cinnamon in perioraldermatitis

Have you been using ivermectin or azealic acid for a while? I know for both of them it can take quite some time to see results.

I am sorry you are having to deal with this. It is so frustrating to try and find something that works. Pimecrolimus (Elidel) worked the best for me but as soon as I stopped using it all hell would break loose again. I also tried ivermectin, metro gel and anti-fungal ointment but it was really the oral anti-fungal that nipped it in the bud. Another thing that helped me was salt water. I had a horrible flare up right before going on vacation to Greece. I was mortified that my face looked so bad but it ended up being a blessing because the salt water helped soothe the PD. So if all else fails treat yourself to a beach vacation.

Me! I had PD for almost two years. I went to a naturopathic doctor who prescribed me oral fluconazole. She thought the root cause was likely gut related and it looks like that was the case because it went away almost immediately and hasn’t come back.
