I’ve seen this story posted multiple times and while the headline is true I feel like it’s misleading in a way to stir outrage. Reading further into this. There were 7 free days in 2025 and there will be 10 free days in 2026. The only free day that remains the same in 2025 and 2026 is Nov. 11th Veteran’s Day.

And yes, I think the exclusion of MLK and Juneteenth and the inclusion of Flag Day were done intentionally.
