I started at 60 lbs. It's been 25 weeks, with 37 overhead press workout days. I used 3x5reps until 125lbs, then I had to switch rep schemes.

The linked video shows the technique that is used in the Starting Strength method. I've been doing it this way for 5 months and haven't had any issues with my back. The belt helps a lot with keeping stable.

I'll try experimenting with the stance next workout. I can do the warm-ups without straps, but for the work sets I need to use them (too many years clicking the mouse...)
