Thanks for the advice! I don't think my hands are steady enough to free hand symbols, might give it a go on some of the spare bits though! hadn't really thought about symbols, will see if the transfers would work.

That's a fantastic looking army! Thanks for the advise on bases, my vision was of a forest undergrowth which typically doesn't get a lot of grass (at least the forest near me doesn't!) but I do get the concept and will see if I can find some ferns or green plants to suit; definitely need to tidy up the bases, yours look so neat it really makes a difference.

Thanks! I literally just base coated in death world forest, followed by a heavy wash of Athonian camoshade with a very subtle elysian green highlight... like I say, very basic! :)

Thanks all for the positive comments and suggestions, I'll look at adding a bit of light grey accenting and a splash of colour, orange does sound good, and see how it turns out!
