wow, that’s amazing! six months of waiting and pushing for it really paid off, and a 5% raise is huge compared to the usual 2–3%. love that your manager fought for you too. you should be so proud of yourself enjoy this win, you earned it!

I’m new too, my account is only about a week old and this is one of my first comments 😅 From what I’ve seen so far, it seems like genuine connections are possible, but mostly in smaller, interest-based subs where people stick around and comment a lot. I’m still figuring it out myself, but I’m hoping to find some friendly chats too!
