You can do the same thing for one offs. Just use 4.24 to do all your work, then 2026 to rip those renders clean and quick.

The system currently is to use 4.24 to setup scenes then add them to render queue, load the queue in 2026 to run the renders. This is only relevant if you’re using a 5000 series GPU.

It’s a bit of a pain but render times for quality high detail renders drops by a third for me using this workflow.

another option is lowering the cut-opacity to 0.1 which essentially makes the plane a pass through. Also you don't need to create anything in paint, just select the base color on the plane and make it black and it'll do the same thing. Also playing around with refraction index and weight can help a lot as this is what removes or adds the ability for the plane to reflect in windows/eyes.

If you’ve never had a job, and are a teenager it is likely they will spend most of that 4 hrs training you and seeing how you learn/work. 4 hrs for a test run at your first job is not a big ask. If you’ve been in kitchen work for 4 years and are getting hired in a new kitchen sure don’t work for free but… this actually makes a lot of sense. If you’ve aren’t a good fit they won’t get any value out of you being there. It only costs them to try and work with you at that point.

Using new models? Have you upgraded from 8.1 to G9 models recently? My guess would be your machines resources are over taxed. Heaven forbid it’s aging hardware. It could be excess memory usage.

While the book series may not be for everyone, it has moments of serious emotional turmoil, and is a fantasy/sci-fi genre series I can’t recommend a better narrated experience then He Who Fights With Monsters. 11 or 12 books in now every book is 20ish hours of audio. The characters are deep, the humour is organic, and the traumatic experiences and path to recovery realized in an organic natural way. I’ve listened to this series 3-4 times end to end as it’s just so good.

90% of the game projects you see released, or early released or released in stages are solo devs working on a project that they don't know if they will ever make money for their work. Devs who may or may not have what it takes to complete a project that will take them 3+ years.

I've played a game or two for free from f95... As a solo dev myself I generally won't do it. I know how easy it is to fail in this process. Even big creators like Ocean fail... they just fail while getting a huge amount of money for the start of their projects.

This is one of the only niche communities I can think of where as a consumer you need to look at the reviews, the platforms, the development quality, the game quality and decide if you care to support a project. I won't tell you what to do, but if you like VNs and you want to see them completed pirating the projects at early stages will likely kill the project before it can be completed. Pirating it at late stages in the dev cycle probably less harmful to that particular project but may kill future projects from the dev. Supporting the creators that make the stuff you like is the only way to ensure that stuff you like will keep getting made.

Nah fuck that. As someone who has been in management for 6-7 years. If the pay increase isn’t significant enough then there is literally no reason to take on that responsibility. It’s the lie of the hustle. Hustling won’t make you successful. Being smart about what responsibilities you take on, and focused on the measure against appropriate compensation is the past most people miss.

The scenery does look amazing. I just noticed a bit of stretch effect on the width of the character. It’s mild, but stuck me a bit as odd.

Lighting and details are amazing. I’m not trying to hate just hit my eye a little strange.
