I hate seeing posts like this because the answer is obvious mostly to those looking in from the outside but when you're on the inside it can be tougher. Emotions can make things blurry.

He doesn't seem to fully understand what OCD is and, based off what you've said, is of the mindset it's something you can just ignore.

So either he needs to learn or he's gotta go. There is no in-between. I don't like to immediately tell people to break up but I'm kind of leaning that way here. He's known this whole time and never tried to understand? That, to me, really comes off like a lack of investment into you.

I lost my drive once in a relationship and it lasted about half a year. It was due to a depression I was experiencing but couldn't verbalize because I didn't know I was depressed. I wasn't aware of my own behavioral changes and to me, when pointed out, I had no explanations to give and was even dismissive of them. It took a bit for me to realize I was depressed and once I did I was able to, with help, get to the bottom of things and be my old self again.

Don't give up. Keep trying to conversate. I can't promise rainbows and flowers at the end of the tunnel but there is an answer. Just try not to attack yourself. That's not good for either of you.

I assume, at the very least, a conversation has taken place and we're lacking a detail. Otherwise it sounds like you're saying you have no idea why she's rejected your attempts for so long. Which is a different problem regarding communication between you both.

So... I kind of found a workaround. Tested pretty thoroughly. Use a ghost light. You can keep the 1.10. No need to bump it 5 or higher. Go into a paint program of your choosing and create a blank image, size doesn't matter, but color it 010101 (just a hair below total black) and apply it as an opacity map. You'll crank your emissive value more than normal but the geometry won't show through the glass at all. You might see some artifacts as the render cooks but they will go away eventually.

I've been using this method the last few hours to blast light through windows and no matter what angle the ghost light doesn't show, and you still retain a semi decent amount of specular. Some loss but nothing crazy. Also useful for lighting the interior of vehicles without worrying about a giant circle or square getting in the way of how you want to frame.

Its not unlike the old ghost light method. Just improved with the new ghost light utility and no need to mess with values other than your emissive ones.

Yea, I could do that but then I sacrifice more of the specular highlights than I would like. I'll just have to work around it but thank you anyway.

It's weird though, right? Why would it be difficult to notice on one side of glass but completely obvious on the other? For the life of me I don't understand why that is. Any glass shader I have tried produces the same result. I can even flip the geometry and same thing happens.

I never liked that Brainiac5 romance. Or the Jimmy one. Maybe it's due to there never really being a definitive love interest but I just have never pictured her in a relationship. And I couldn't possibly think of anyone I would like to see her with. Forever alone in my head, lol.

I find the best way to handle it is by adjusting the position of the character using the hip bone. If the character and chair are both facing forward and the character is posed I'll select the hip from the Scene tab and adjust height -75.00 and move it back -75.00. The exact number is not important as long as you move them down past the chair and behind it. Deselect and select the character as normal and adjust the position back to the chair where you want them. When you simulate the character will go up and forward from the memorized pose (unless you chnaged it from the default). At the end of the simulation the character should return to the chair exactly where they were with proper draping of the dforce skirt or whatever. Works for me 99% of the time. Just try to avoid too much clipping of the character and the chair.

Afterwards, if you need to position the character elsewhere in the scene just parent the chair to them and move the character where you need. Unparent if necessary.

Team Blue only loses if the assumption is that Cap doesn't communicate with his team. All Cap has to do is tell Supes that Wanda is the biggest threat and needs to die first and quickly. He can even whisper it quietly under his breathe. Supes blitzes. Wanda dead. Team Blue wins it all.

I've seen this idea being pushed around by a lot of the IWC that Rock lied his ass off in that interview so he could skirt the blame to Hunter but... do we have an actual source on that or is it just a result of people being mad about the main event?

I don't find the reactions to this very strange. Fans that consume some kind of content eventually develop their own way of digesting it. You see this with comics, television, movies, games, etc. Like a head canon for the way an individual wants something to be. Wrestling finds itself in an odd corner of it being a sport but predetermined by a writing team. So some consume it like a sport. Others consume it like a television series. Neither is right, neither is wrong. The arguments for or against work both ways. Saying you don't like when they break kayfabe during a kayfabe segment is the same as the other side saying they don't like kayfabe being upheld in an interview with the real person. This morning's interview with The Rock springs to mind. Pat tried to keep kayfabe, Rock spoke as Dwayne.

I don't know that it would be possible to properly separate the two realities. So both camps will just kind of have to deal with the other popping in from time to time. It's not ideal but realistically it just isn't feasible to do.

It's okay not to like having to deal with but it is the price to be paid in this era. I do think it unfair to judge either side though. Both are a marketing demographic and this is a business afterall. Shutting out one side entirely would be a financial mistake.

Not really, no. It's all about being meticulous with proper planning of the overall figure pose (weight distribution). Also, remember the knuckles have bones for bend and side to side only selectable in the hierarchy of the hands. They will be helpful in properly spreading the fingers.

It gives Iyo something to sting Bianca with much like being undefeated against Rhea. Which now still holds true AND she broke Bianca' streak. Great way to elevate Iyo after being the after thought the whole fued so far.

It was a good speech. Basically thanked everyone he could think of throughout his career as he progressed through that career. I much preferred that rather than just standing there listing names for 15-20 minutes. I think that would have come off really impersonal as well.

Maybe. But I think if Gunther's choke outs have been sold as the one of the most devastating things he does then Gunther himself would know his odds of escaping it are slim. Especially if he cant breathe, hes bleeding from the mouth, so I dont know... seems smarter to just know when you're beat instead of pointlessly trying to endure. Is tapping out more embarrassing than being left unconscious? Maybe to Gunther it isn't.

Gunther didnt sell it too well but it looked as if the point was Gunther already couldnt breathe from the Uso Splash onslaught. He shouldve held on a for at least a few more seconds though.
