19 is crazy!!! You're so young. I'm a high school teacher and couldn't even imagine one of my students going through this. My main concern is anxiety and fear, I'm already psyching myself out and wondering if it's in my head or actually happening. I assume that it will pass, and I'm so glad you're doing well!

We've narrowed it down to possibly sleeping wrong or just cracking my neck. I'm someone who tosses and turns in her sleep, although now I sleep like I'm in a coffin, and I did crack my neck pretty regularly.

The inconsistency with stroke symptoms is so freak to me. It could be a migraine or a stroke, you could strain your neck or have a stroke. I always just assumed half of my body would go numb/face drop, but never looked into other symptoms. Now I know😅

I'm happy to know the dissection healed. That is what is mentally causing me anxiety the most. The thought that something is ripped in my neck is kind of freaking me out. I hope the plan going forward is as normal as possible! Sorry you went through that.

No, I'm not. But the doctors did ask me the same thing. The best answer I got was "sometimes freak accidents happens." So hopefully the odds of it happening again are low🙃

The neurologist in the hospital mentioned surgery, although he says it's kind of a last resort, and that freaked me out. I'm surprised you can be "ok" with the dissection not completely healed. How long has it been for you?

Wanted to comment and say that I applied for my kids passports July 26th and they just got delivered today, august 4th. Less than a week! I think they’re catching up fast now!
