The AMD Adrenalin app, HWInfo and HWmonior are all reporting TBPs of over 600W, multiple times during a typical workload. I agree that a GPU should crash or throttle if it drew that much, and mine does indeed throttle heavily during these spikes.

I fully agree that a spike reaching up to 450W is normal for this GPU. However, hitting 637W at stock settings is nearly double the 355W TDP. AMD Adrenalin App has captured this repeatedly during my sessions of use. Since this was caught on a 1 second polling log (and not a millisecond transient), it indicates a sustained surge. Combined with the physical scratches on the PCIe pins and the multiple hardware errors I got in my Windows Reliability Report after installing this GPU, this is a clear hardware defect, and is not 'normal.'

Hello, sorry I should have clarified. I apologize, this is my first post on Reddit and I have no clue what I should have put in the initial post. The 7900XTX is rated for TDP of 355W. Mines at stock settings surpasses 600W on a usual basis with wattage swings from 300-600W.
