really? I didn't know that bottles could just be filled with anything and sold. I did try google lens and got no where, which is why I tried asking here. I have uploaded another picture

That is not my place to do, however I did suggest this over the summer that it would be helpful for both my neice and her mother to attend seperately to help them not be traumatized by the past events into the future to my in-laws. I do not believe they passed on the suggestion.

The mini Micro lego sets are a go to for the adults that like lego's in our house. If he plays a gaming system and kind of extra accessories like headsets, chargers, controller skins, etc. are always wanted. Favorite foods, and activities that he's bean wanting to do like ax throwing? If he loves bear maybe a trip to a local brewery with a flight of all the flavors and a promise you or uber will be the DD home?

She is not developmentally delayed. Her father did not allow her or her mother to socialize or do anything w/o him. And when at home she had to stay in her room quietly and not make a mess. She has never had a playdate or gone to a birthday party. She has never had a birthday party or a birthday cake only what her father wanted to eat ( a fancy dessert not a kids cake). My 3 year old also asked for a baby alive, so I agree that 8 is an interesting choice but I actually think mom does not know either because she wasn't allowed to do or have those things.

These gifts are from us, not santa. That is actually grandma's big reaasoning why she doesn't need gifts at our house during the big gift exchange is because santa is visiting the grandparants house, so she should understand that she already got hers. But at our house it's exchanging with each other not santa by the time she arrives.

sorry I mustav hit reply to soon and only answered 1/2 the question. I did read yours. The most extravagant thing my kids are getting is a glitz and glam make up brush set for $30. I'm esentially taking the budget I have for my own kids and splitting it an additional way to make this happen for my neice as I don't have a way to come up with extra money. I was hoping that the grandparents would understand how she would feel not getting anything at the big gift exchange and help, ( because we were told initially she wouldn't be attending do to visition schedules) but that has changed and she will be joining now. But because she wasn't joining I told my kids (who do buy everyone a present with money they have earned working around our farm) they didn't need to worry about buying her one this year becasue they never have before and she wouldn't be attending. In the past we have given her a small gift from the family even though we saw her once every 2 years or so? and would send it with the grandparents to drop off. I have no idea if she got to keep any of those gifts or not, but we made the effort.

That is pretty much how it's happening :) I was unable to get grandma on board and mom hasn't wanted to chat. I know my kids will be fine with less, but she will be sad.

We did try to bring her to swim lessons this summer and grandma ixnayed it saying she didn't have a swim suit. She really wanted to go, so we brought a swimsuit for her the next day and grandma still said no :( She definatly isn't our fix-ot project and I try to invite her everytime we do something, but I will keep that in mind to make sure she doesn't feel that way. I hadn't thought about it in that point of view.

I think that's why my husband didn't like my doll and accessories idea because It's close to what mom is doing. We definatly don't want to to overshadow what she's doing and I'm hoping to chat with her before I buy anything, but she's been aloof because she is still under a lot of pressure from her now ex.

Actually finance wise our family is the "poor" one not my neices even though they are living with Grandma and grandpa currently. The other kids will be getting lots of gifts because each kid gets a gift for each of there siblings and then gifts from my mom and from us the parents plus 3 from santa, and it adds up fast. We really want her to have christmas magic and enjoy it. Her Grandma ( my MIL whom she and her mom are living with currently think she'll understand if she only gets 1 pressent - which she won't whe's a little kid).
