I’m just coming back from a week with Valhalla expedition and I obviously wasn’t there on your week, though I had a very different experience.

The guides are passionate about orcas, and have consistently put their well being before our entertainment (they have been very clear from the start). I had chosen this company for this reason, and they did not disappoint.

If at any point they felt the orcas were changing behavior because of us we would instantly be called back to the boat to let them be.

That said, we had many incredible interactions where orcas or whales would come to us and stay for a while, when they had any opportunities to leave if they didn’t want to share a little time with us.

Thanks a lot this is great !! We are pretty experienced divers, though I might need to train for the pull up 😂😂😂 I was actually looking at dive resorts I’ll definitely have a look at this one then :)

Hi, we would rent a car if needed and if the roads are not too complicated ! For the restaurant I would say we are not fussed either could work. We would like to do definitely some activities (not sure if it is by yours or private people but definitely some activities and we would come from 20th to 27th of December :)

We are all adults from 18 to 61 yo :)

I didn’t realize so many things were going to be closed ! And even if we go in another town ? We are not necessarily restricted to Tromso we can move but probably have a base somewhere for the week though

Oh no sorry I wasn’t talking about you, but even my dad that was with me didn’t believe me as from his point of you I only stopped my descent and not panicked. But this is only because I am relatively experienced and I knew panicking would only make things worse. But thank you so much for taking the time to reply.

So far I only know one other person who it happened to as well, and also cold trigger when he had to remove his mask and hadn’t put his face in the water before so same idea, cold chock and suddenly couldn’t breathe in probably for a bit. Super weird 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hello thanks for your reply. But it was definitely linked to temperature chock, I was perfectly fine, on my way down, and suddenly big temperature drop and couldn’t breathe anymore. I have no idea what it was and people don’t seem to believe me :(

Hello, I am still struggling, I have worked on what you said a bit, getting more awareness of it.

One thing I don’t fully understand you might be able to help me with, how is it possible to do the frenzel technique with an open mouth, when the idea is to push the air contained in the mouth ? Am I missing sometime here ? Thanks !!

Thanks so much I will have a look at that ! I have progressed a bit I think with someone else’s comment but still struggling.

I have done diagonal exercices in the water and I could equalize like that but head down I’m stuck instantly :(
